The Council of State Governments’ (CSG) National Center for Interstate Compacts is excited to announce that the initial draft of the Social Work Compact has been finalized and posted online for review and public comment at https://compacts.csg.org/compact-updates/social-work/. On CSG’s webpage you will also find a list of FAQs and a two-page educational fact-sheet.
Additionally, beginning July 18, CSG will host weekly review sessions to explain the provisions of the compact. These meetings are open to the general public. A link to register can be found here: https://csg-org.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYqcOysqjwtHdDXjPkdYBeqaa0im8-kCDjY.
