The Council and each member board must file notice of any open meeting with the Texas Register. These notices are submitted to the Texas Register for publication through a secure internet site and are immediately available for viewing by the public using the Open Meeting Viewer.

The Council, in accordance with the authority granted under Section 551.021 of the Government Code, voted at its May 4, 2021 regular meeting to transition from written meeting minutes to a recording of each open meeting. The public can access recordings of open meetings via the Council’s YouTube channel or by submitting a public information request.
A copy of written minutes from meetings held prior to May 4, 2021 may be requested by submitting a public information request.
